You guys, it’s February already! The month of spreading love, joy, and happiness! But did you know that February 16 is Random Acts of Kindness Day?
I’m so excited to share that I’ve partnered with Cuties for their 100 Days of Sunshine campaign! Being kind doesn’t take much effort, it’s something YOU have the power to be. Sometimes as moms its easy to forget that we have little eyes watching us and looking up to us all the time. It’s incredibly important to teach your child the power of kindness. Make a care package to someone in need or simply grab a bag of Cuties and take it with you while you’re out at the park and share the sweet snack.
We’ve been fans of Cuties for such a long time. I probably eat two at a time, seriously the best snack for a busy mom. Both my little ones also LOVE them. They are sweet, seedless, and SO easy to peel. We try to live a healthy lifestyle and offer healthy options as often as we can. So, I’m sharing a healthy popsicle recipe that is very popular in my house. It’s super easy to make and healthy too!
Healthy Popsicle Recipe
- Dice up a kiwi and set aside.
- Juice three Cuties.
- Add kiwi into the popsicle mold.
- Pour juice into the popsicle mold.
- Freeze until solid, abou 8 hours, or overnight.
- ENJOY!
This is the perfect healthy snack for your little one!
Benefits of Citrus
Citrus is an excellent source of vitamin C and is rich in a variety of nutrients such as potassium and fiber. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, not only for myself but for my family as well. My daughter loves being a “big girl” and enjoys doing things herself. She absolutely loves that she can peel Cuties herself. So, I make sure to have them in a spot where she can easily grab one when she is in the mood. Most of the time, she’ll grab one for her little brother too. She is seriously the sweetest little four year old!
Life, it’s a chaotic yet beautiful thing. Take the time to appreciate and share the goodness by being kind. No matter what obstacle life throws at you, always choose to be kind.
I’d love to hear how you spread kindness, share some Acts of Kindness you’ve performed and comment below!
